I am FULLY FUNDED for the World Race!
Thank you so much to everyone who has prayed for me, supported my trip, and followed along on the journey! Thank you for sacrificing time to meet with me and for partnering with me on this adventure. I am so grateful for all of you! I have reached 100% of my funding and I am so excited to be leaving on this mission trip in August.
On July 9th, 2021, I will be flying out to Atlanta, GA to participate in a training camp with the rest of my squad (all of the people on my trip). I will be in Gainesville, GA until July 17, preparing and getting to know my teammates. I am super excited to officially meet my squad in person and get to know them better. Would you pray for my team and I as we are preparing to go? Below are some themes and verses that I have been praying for myself, my team, and our trip. Would you join me in prayer that Jesus’ name would be glorified in our lives and the lives of the people we are going to meet?
-
Open Hands-
-
That we would surrender our trip and our expectations to Jesus. Due to the uncertainty of this season, our trip may change in the months to come and our route could be altered. Pray that we would be flexible with any changes that may occur.
-
Team Unity-
-
Pray that other people would see God’s love through our team.
-
“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35)
-
That we would walk in love- “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God”- (Ephesians 5:1-2)
-
Opportunities to Share/Boldness through Holy Spirit
-
May we share the gospel with boldness as Paul shares in Colossians 4:3-4 “Pray for us, too that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should”.
-
Acts 28: 31- “proclaim the Kingdom with all boldness and without hindrance” Pray that we would be bold and rely on Holy Spirit’s guidance.
-
Receptive hearts for the Gospel- Jeremiah 24:7- “I will give them a heart to know that I am the Lord, and they shall be my people and I will be their God, for they shall return to me with their whole heart”.
-
Protection and Safety- (Psalm 121:8)
-
That we would have safety during travel and our preparations before we go.
-
Provision for my teammates-
-
Philippians 4:19- “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus”
-
Praying and believing for my teammates to reach fully funded before we leave. Our God is faithful!
-
Trust in God-
-
“May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with Hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13)
-
That our faith would grow as we trust in God as a provider (Jehovah Jireh)
-
Spiritual Protection and Strength-
-
Ephesians 6:10-19
-
Pray that our Identity would be grounded as Sons and Daughters of God.

Praying as you prepare to leave in the morning. I’m sure there are lots of emotions, but we know that the LORD is with you wherever you go. Honored to be praying along with you and the team. ~ Blessings, Susan (Mrs. J)
Love the way you organized this blog, Elizabeth. I especially like how you have a Scripture coupled with each prayer request. You are a woman of the Word-love it! Blessings girl!
